@randahl I doubt that American journalists would digest very well on an empty stomach.
@randahl
✅ Svaneborg doing his job as a journalist.
✅ Rutte doing his job as a suppository.
In the free world, everyone has the opportunity to live up to their talents. Some have a spine, others are particularly slippery; there’s a role for everyone.
I thought the deal in NATO was: the US get the Military Commander and Europe gets the Secretary General.
🤔
Instead US got both one general and one bootlicker.
@randahl he earned his "Teflon Mark" nickname
@randahl you know, um, er, what I always do is acknowledge when when I have shit on my nose, and under trump I always have shit on my nose. That makes NATO stronger because it allows him to pretend like he might be willing to make a move to help his allies, when in reality he’s just shifting his weight to get more comfortable on my nose.
@randahl Enh. "How do you feel about X?" questions are open ended and only so helpful. I need to know policy, plans, steps taken, etc.
@randahl I feel like there is a breakfast pastry joke here but I haven’t had enough coffee yet. Great question though.
@randahl
what a bawbag answer.
sycophants keep reproducing.
human remoras?
@randahl - Rutte is completely spineless. And yes, NATO is getting stronger because of Trump. Just not as an ally.
I wonder if Rasmus had a 'follow-up' question on this non-answer?
Dutch journalists are pretty good at eating American journalists for breakfast, too. They gobbled up the embarrassingly outmatched, former Trump ambassador to the Netherlands, Pete Hoekstra, like a cup of pickled herring.
@randahl sure, praise someone when someone deserves it, totally agree. But also criticize someone when they deserve to be criticized. That last part seems to be missing in Rutte.
