PSA - Naloxone (Narcan) is NOT a fix for overdoses. It buys you a little time to get someone to an emergency room.
Writing this b/c I’ve heard people suggest otherwise at least twice recently. (Including Rolling Stone)
Always call 911 after you’ve given someone Narcan. The victim of an overdose needs professional medical care immediately - even when they start to look better in response to this medication.
