@blogdiva Watching the wrangling in the thread, and wondering how many of its participants are using LLMs at home, on the web, or at work.
Cuz if you're using commercial LLMs, you're *already* a pirate, and it's a little late for moral outrage.

I proudly use A.I. every day in making unique music that was made by learning the same way all humans do.. By seeing how others do something and then taking the knowledge to make something new and original. Are all the Luddites in this thread afraid of the reality that machines can be trained to learn just like we do?

You learned to speak English in the same manner that an A.I. learns it. Are you stealing from anybody else by learning a language everybody else uses?
Did you steal the #English language?
Do you not learn from every source you encounter? Do you not upgrade your understanding when you encounter new words?
My point being once we had the capacity to learn because we could store more information, it changed what task we could perform. Know better, do better.

What would be even more anti-capitalist would be to boycott privative culture en masse and let Big Media go bankrupt. But so many social interactions and cultural references have been steadily wrapped by the market around the entertainment industry, that fully boycotting them is practically considered a social suicide nowadays.
