@timbray HPE and VMware keep offering to send me to their annual big industry events on their dime, and my answer is the same.

I don't even let vendors buy me lunch though as a rule, so my refusal is based on that too (which drives the local reps crazy lol)

@timbray orange site's mods really don't like nationalist stuff when it breaks their indoctrination that the US is the best country in the world.

@timbray Remote unconferencing is awkward, incomplete, difficult for organizers. Yet done well by some during COVID. Hybrid, not so much. So, #remote.
