There are many projects out there that have developers, but need help and suggestions on the interface and design.

@ozoned not direct UI/UX designer, but decade long product owner in web dev. Handling these was my daily business, so I can assists with some knowledge
@ozoned @Mrfunkedude I agree with this but would also like to point out that both KDE and Gnome have user interface guidelines documents that will go a LOOOONG way to assist in usability. Go there first, leave the hard decisions to the experts.
