@davidgerard there's even so many things Thomas L Friedman (what's the "L" for btw?) leaves out... like the whole trade war, withdrawals from UN, US Aid, the support for right-wing nut cases like Orban, the constant threat of NATO withdrawal, threats to European companies operating in US... and the fact he started his whole f*cking Iran war against European advice.

Of course Europe should leave full responsibility to the idiots that started all this. Also, there's China + renewables.

3a) the west minus US makes a deal with Iran and is blasted for being weak and pathetic
3b) the west minus US can‘t end the shitshow Trump brought upon the world and is blasted for being weak and pathetic
4) somewhere on Epstein‘s island a coconut falls from a palm tree

@davidgerard Trump is excellent at making deals -- he keeps telling us, and he is a very stable genius, as we know -- so why don't we just wait until he's agreed one with the Iranians? He's *so* good at this, he even wrote a book on the subject, I believe.
