Why spreading nonsense messages making naive people believe WW II had to do with freedom of a free world?
@randahl I think that take is quite simplifying. The free world in the sense of US politics certainly didn't beat Hitler, it wasn't about freedom from my point of view. The US helped one evil to win over another. The consequences of these actions can be seen in the present. But focusing purely on US politics it can be still helpful to look into the point of view that got to this point. What where the motivations of previous administrations for war and how did it led there.
@randahl Not sure the rest of the world can chance leaving this up to Americans anymore. After all, they voted for the guy twice already.
November seems a long ways off. I am worried what he will be doing to appease Xi this weekend when they meet. I believe Xi knows he has trump by the balls & he may ask (not so nicely) for Taiwan, and I think trump will say okay. You can take it & we won't fight it.
@randahl I worry that in a world where Joe Rogan is popular, more voting is not going to help. More education might though
