If you enjoyed the crime thriller The Chestnut Man on #Netflix, I warmly recommend season two which is now available. Same dark nordic noir feeling, believable realism, and great acting.
Be advised, there are a few really horrible scenes in it, so it is not for the faint of heart, but most of the time it is a classical thriller — certainly not a horror movie.
I really enjoyed it.

@randahl I just noticed today that there was a season two, and I’m looking forward to it. I enjoyed the first season and the book.
@randahl they did a second season of that, the first one was okay, so I might check it out.

@ElsvanOsch out of curiosity: Did you watch it with the original Danish voices and subtitles? I know some viewers find it hard to watch a movie with a language they do not speak. I certainly feel that way with Spanish movies.
@randahl . Yes I wat he’d the original Danish version with Dutch subtitles. I love hearing the native language the actors speak and don’t mind subtitles. Dutch television ( and also Netflix) always airs series in their original language with subtitles, so we’re used to it here. And I love the sound of Nordic languages, they resemble my Dutch dialect 😊
