c60. Census, 8 dups. We're ranching-heavy, w/stone hatches, pacu, and soon to have both dreckos and shinebugs, too.

I expect today to be mostly improvements in and near the base. All that tapping and capping from yesterday? We're just letting those supplies build while we do our work. That build-up is *why* we tapped & capped so furiously.

Screenshot: The entire revealed map. A very tall main shaft stretches almost to space and almost to the barren biome. On its right side is the main living quarters. On its left side, ranches, research, and light industry. Most of these things are currently still in a fairly primitive state.

First steps today: start the drecko ranch and finish the pacu ranch.

Why are dreckos important? On a terran moonlet spaced out start, there is no oil on the starting asteroid. No oil means no plastic. But glossy dreckos can be sheared for plastic and reed fiber.

And pacus will contribute ultimately to surf'n'turf, and in the meantime, to lime production from eggshells.

Which reminds me, I need a metal refinery *soon*. Doing way too much crushing.
