@rhold I think so. Once I have plastic, there'll be 15 breeder pacus. At full capacity, the one-tile pool on the right will hold 110-140 live pacus. There will be zero duplicant labor for this.

c30. Census is 8, which we'll keep for a while, only picking *excellent* dups going forward, for a total of 16-20.
We have 2 builder/diggers, 2 farmer/ranchers, 2 operators, 1 supplier and 1 researcher. Some have extra skills like decorating & doctoring we'll want later.
I feel like I'm behind. I don't know why, cuz I'm not. It's only c30, whaddayawant, egg in your beer?!?
The mission of the next 70: become stable enough we feel we can look away for modest stretches.
We're shitty-food stable, but a) shitty food is shitty, and b) shitty food is labor intensive. So we want to get some better food going, and more efficiently.
On the lower left, then, we have our next little goal: finish the hatch and control area, start the pacu area.
Hatches & pacu will give us not quite 16 dups worth of surf'n'turf, a "great" food, plus coal, plus eggshells.
(I'll show you the pacu ranch when it's closer to real.)
c35. The dups are working well, and the pacu ranch frame is all built out, as is the control area. The conveyor stuff is for later: we don't even have a mechatronics dup for another 10 cycles minimum, but I lay it out anyway, partly so I know I got the build right, partly so Super and other idle dups can do the supply, even w/o the ability to build.
As water begins to fill the breeder tanks, we need, ummmm, a pacu egg.
Now we come to my usual fail-point: multi-tasking. There are so many things to do, so why don't I do them *all*!
Here are some things:
1) Bathroom, medbay, water treatment.
2) Drecko ranch.
3) Pacu egg.
4) Tap & cap cool slush geyser.
5) Find polluted h2o vent.
6) Head down to the barren biome.
7) Set up rad & data bank research.
8) Set up metal refinery.
Staying focused, with all these possibilities, is a real challenge for me.
@GeePawHill why do you build so many fish feeders? I usually stick to 1 per tank and that's sufficient for me.
@rhold Those are five breeder pools, not one, the walls in between aren't blueprinted in yet.
