Before the human project on this planet comes to an end, I’m going to embark on something old-fashioned: a series of urban walks intended to excavate the layers of geography, history, struggle, infrastructure, technology and everyday making-do that sediment into our experience of place. I hope you’ll join me.

One of the questions I’m minded to ask is: what might a 21st century-native psychogeography look like, a psychogeography beyond Hawksmoor churches and the Place Saint-Sulpice? I guess we’ll find out, together.
@adamgreenfield If you’re interested in people who are doing this kind of thing I did a lot of research when we were setting up Walkspace a few years back. Lots of stuff from around the country that isn’t beholden to Sinclair et al. Let me know and I’ll dig out some stuff.
@adamgreenfield And Morag and her Loiterers Resistance Movement are very inspirational. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loiterers_Resistance_Movement
