But your descriptions says "side project enthusiast" and you have a website dedicated to that, so I assume it's something you're passionate about, and it must take time/energy/resources. If you're willing to tell me how you find that time and energy, that would be valuable, even if I couldn't apply it to myself.
I do miss talking shop with other writers, having those fun conversations about everything and getting excited about the work of others and my own. Now, I've got books from several members of the community waiting to be read, and so many unwritten reviews that I don't think I'd even know what to say if I tried to write them.
And of course, there is my book, a sequel to Wild Flowers Electric Beasts that has so much potential but needs so much work. 2/
The new job will mean being away from home for 10h/day taking the commute into account. Then rushing to pick my kid up and spend some valuable time with them before bedtime. And after, being completely depleted.
How do you guys do it? Those who work full time and have kids or other care-taking/time&labor intensive responsibilities? How do you find time and energy to write? Tell me your secrets! /end
