@NunavutBirder Great photo!
@NunavutBirder Do they hibernate or remain active all winter? What would they feed on during winter?
And how come you don't have them as cute cuddly pets? 🙂
@jfmezei active all winter. Both the Red Foxes and Arctic Foxes
@jfmezei @NunavutBirder foxes smell TERRIBLE
they're very loud
And they're wild animals. Domestication is a long process that most animals aren't suited to.
The best way to enjoy animals is to protect their habitats and spot them in the wild, leaving a safe and respectful distance. This weird impulse to own everything has already underpinned so many losses and so much suffering.
@noodlemaz @jfmezei pretty sure he’s being sarcastic Marianne.
@NunavutBirder @jfmezei I see that from their reply (in good humour) but there is nothing in what I replied to to suggest that.
I constantly see comments 'I WANT ONE' on beautiful wildlife photography. Most of them aren't sarcastic :/
