You christen a ship by bashing the anchor? A totally expendable part?
If you did the same thing with your bike, you'd have to throw the drink at the kickstand.
@kirk in my case it was near campfire, built tent, dinner cooking, opened beer...
Just bikepacking evening and that was the feeling "I made it"
