@starfrosch Android 8 or later devices can control notifications channels, so you can silence or hide any notification you want or not want. But the devil is in the details, as more manufacturers will penalize apps you don't interact with and will keep them offline, hence making updates impossible.
Did you also test our latest 2.0-alpha version? It's nice: https://f-droid.org/2026/04/24/twif.html#f-droid-core 😉
