@saskia I guess one thing puzzles me is: what does engagement look like to a mastodon user outside the app user community? Or is engagement only for a closed community (those using the app?)
@deborahh to someone outside of the app, it just looks like any normal Mastodon account! So I'm interacting from one of our apps now. But some people may want their community to be closed, in which case there would be no interaction with the Social Web!
