I got started by running #honk on a cell phone, and would run #snac on a cell phone in a heartbeat.
Have you replaced the OS or are you using something like Termux?
@knapjack postmarketOS. Absolutely fab. The only issue is that I'm very used to Debian, so this Alpine style does throw me off.

My current collection of old phones aren't supported well enough. I have one that I break out about once a year to see if the status has changed but no luck. When it does I'm migrating back. 😁
@knapjack may I ask which phone models you're tinkering with? Most Android phones within the last decade work well with PostmarketOS, (particularly OnePlus and Samsung Galaxy)
