How will this work for clients of servers with no JavaScript, like #snac2 and #honk? Well the server be doing the decryption as surely that breaks the point of it being "end-to-end"?

#Honk is an existing microblogging Fedi software that also allows for the tagging of posts with locations as one of its features. I investigated it a while back with an idea of setting up a server, but was put off by the lack of favourites etc..

Hey, you're on a new handle! (as am I, in meatspace I'm still the same dirk) I have also moved from #honk to #snac, but have subsequently ditched the mobile apps in favour of the browser.

Yep! I was a happy #honk user, but I've been on #snac for at least a year. 🤔 It's fantastic on resource-restricted systems, I often use Tusky as a client, the API handles most of the Mastodon API. It's nice.
