@Brett_E_Carlock i suspect it will be easier to provide an estimate if you can indicate what sort of interaction you value as interactions with other software often induces constraints that affect open source work. not familiar with this codebase but audio sounds much easier than video. do very much like the focus on plugins emacs shows you can last forever if you work in concert with your users
