About 1 hour into a new pastel painting. Very textured landscape of snowy field with sparse sagebrushes leading the viewers to mountains.

A pastel landscape painting 30 minutes later, still work-in-progress. Sagebrushes are a little more defined. They cast blue shadows on snow.
