Started making a blanket in October 24th 2023.
Just finished it.
Made using crochet with pre-looped yarn and it was my first time using that sort of yarn.
I think that *actual making* was probably 6 - 8 (?) hours, I had ten balls of yarn.
Enjoyed it a lot! Learned quite a bit about stitch directionality and also ways to deal with dropped and/ or extra loops.

I’m working on more moss embroideries right now, and also writing an article that will be published in Spring 2026 (I’ll share it then!).
Since I get easily burnt out doing the same thing over and over, I’m thinking about adding some variety. Maybe a tapestry, painting, stamp-making, or something else entirely. I might be headed towards making a sort of 'bonbon shop of art' instead of fully focusing on embroidery. Just creating small things that make life better.

Early sneak peek of #WIP composer UI relayout.
(still on my local dev, not dev site)
Today in my #wip I will be making a volcano erupt and sending thousands of refugees into a nearby city.

I have officially finished the Unicorn herself and despite some setbacks that had me spiraling for about an hour I got a lot accomplished today and am hoping to get a lot done over the long weekend. #dbcraftalong #db2025 #fiberart #fanart #thelastunicorn #handmade #tapestry #wip

Slowly working my way through the prototypes of my upcoming designs, yesterday with the second sea slug magnet!
I’m super happy with it, though I might adjust the shape of the foot flappies a bit.
Coral reef collection should arrive mid to end of September!
