I paused reading @cstross 's Regicide Report (I wonder how many searches for "stross regicide" it takes before Google puts him on a list?) this evening to watch The Abominable Dr Phibes (1971) which I last watched much closer to its release date than to today.

@dvsoest @rupert It exists, as does the sequel: but the versions described in The Regicide Report (including the non-existent third movie) are rather different!
