Last days I've been checking out the latest state of #Thunderbird I'm disappointed that it's slower then #Evolution, is less well integrated in the GNOME desktop and has already crashed a few times by using too much memory. Could be more noticeable on my older computer. I keep remain hopeful for a cross-desktop email client though.

@nicorikken Did you try betterbird yet? This is a fork with many improvements.
@sst_sst Thanks, I didn't know of Betterbird. I don't expect it to solve the memory issue, but some listed features are welcome improvements. I'm a bit hesitant to choose a derivative. I can give it a try.
