Judge Carolyn B. Kuhl at today's hearing over social media’s alleged harms to children:

"If your glasses are recording, you must take them off. It is the order of this court that there must be no facial recognition of the jury. If you have done that, you must delete it. This is very serious."

@stefan Take their glasses & their phones & put them through a fucking shredder

Then throw every fucking one of them in a cell for contempt of court & review that in 6 months

@stefan

The bailiff should have confiscated those glasses and refused to return them.

@stefan Why are the glasses allowed in the court at all? You wouldn't be allowed to bring an obvious spying device like a big dish microphone for recording from far away like in the movies. Why do they allow Meta glasses, or phones for that matter? Just have lockers outside the court for portable electronics like in sensitive rooms on a military base.

@stefan You can take them off and there may be an option somewhere than says delete, but deleting does not delete. That court order can't be complied with by definition.

(I seriously can't understand how Meta glasses are legal.)
