Another failing Govt. IT project has (quietly) been shelved.
The Tories promised a post-Brexit digital Single Trade Window to underpin 'frictionless trade', using Deloitte & IBM, but no further money has been allocated to the project since January 2025 & it now seems to have been abandoned.
Apparently the Govt. still is seeking to establish a STW but its unlikely to be restarted in this Parliament, leaving increased costs for businesses trading internationally!
