Someone oughta get that! If nothing else...
My kid recently used our sad $40 reflector telescope we had grabbed off the curb, to totally "stone soup" a star party.
He announced a star party, set up in the park with snacks and the scope.
Soon enough, someone in the neighborhood hauled their much better computerized telescope to the park, and began showing neighbors things in the sky! Families with kids came by.
Stone soup. I'm telling ya.
