Got out for a hike with my #horse buddy today. A good time was had by all. 🤠🐴
The old boy had three teeth pulled this week, which was pretty traumatic. Horse teeth grow continuously over their lives, until they don’t. Once enough teeth have come loose or fallen out a wild horse usually dies.
But Magic gets soaked pellets of chopped hay and alfalfa that he only has to pretend he’s chewing. He’s 26 years old now, which is kind of like a very spry and alert 90-year-old man.
