The Winter Olympics put me in the mood to participate in the legally distinct The Games: Winter Challenge.
I played this a lot in the past, especially the ski jumping event.
I never got past the ~95 meters, until now! With the Ninja Turtle character no less!
Turns out the cracked version doesn't/very poorly register landings for long jumps. I confirmed that just now
Same with the infamous "speed skating" bug, that pushed the skater into the wall on the last lap. Also not there in the original version
I have to wonder: is it an accidental side effect of the crack, or did the developers sabotage it on purpose? The game quits when it detects a "debugger" in memory, so there are checks
But without warning the user? Or was that message "cracked" too?

Even the copy that GOG is selling has these issues, so I'm going to guess it isn't a broken crack but intentional sabotage by the developers.
Super weird to jeopardize the reputation of your game like this. No one is going to buy your game when they think it's simply buggy.
