If you helped onboard a family member, friend or colleague to Kagi Search, what convinced them to join?

@kagihq when they’re old enough to remember Pre-Millenial Search, I simply show them. The youngsters … difficult.

@kagihq the friends I referred are doing well financially and have been sick of google results going downhill. They were already prone to trying to degoogle.

I think most friends are keen to get away from Google, and are even willing to pay for it - the hardest barrier is how very expensive it is. Particularly in my country, where we need to apply USD/AUD conversion and then also 10% GST tax.

Don't get me wrong, I value it at the price it is and that's why I pay for it.)

@kagihq Related, the way I became a Kagi member was because a friend recommended it for me. He said the results really were so much better that it is worth the pay. And after using it, I agree. It's not that much money either, for something I use so often.

I like your dynamic where I'm the customer rather than the product. I can really tell the difference using your search.
