Companies and governments would also stop using it to communicate. So such a ban won’t cut off 100% of people, but enough that it would impact its revenue and its reach.

A ban should get European politicians off the platform, which means their X posts will no longer be cited by news outlets, which means less free advertising for it.

So what if some private citizens decide to circumvent the ban, they could also go darknet or Telegram or whatever.
