@asanpin I’ve found that the hashtag communities are really fun. Need a book recommendation? #Bookstodon. Need advice on knitting a sock? #knitting. Whatever you’re interested in, someone will answer you.

It varies, depending on whether a hashtag has established itself as a well-known hashtag for a given topic; it is very ad-hoc. The ones which are established, such as #knitting, #crochet or #bookstodon, yes, they are lovely and helpful. They've reached critical mass. Others haven't managed to coalesce (yet).
@kerravonsen @asanpin Good point. It's nice in some ways that it's small, like you can follow #Apple and not have your feed overwhelmed. Oh, I forgot #SilentSunday
@podfeet @kerravonsen @asanpin I’m curious, how can you make your feed not overwhelmed ? I started following #silentsunday and though it’s cool I’m considering leaving because my regular feed is buried under…
Also I can’t figure how to go previous conversation posts(like, I saw your reply and can’t find the question…)
iOS mobile app.
Many thanx !
