@ramsey I kind admire the “look, here are the printed copies in a warehouse” in the pitch. And that there is exactly one pledge tier. It does seem to miss the risk management aspect of crowdfunding, though. Given that the original version had 717 backers (including myself), and a reasonable prediction that this project will have less, printing 1000 copies feels like there will be boxes in that warehouse for the rest of time, as if it was the 1990’s.
@ramsey Wild that they are doing a second edition after the first only came out in 2023 after it was 12 years late.
Maybe this one will be delivered swiftly and without a shitload of stolen art.

I’d forgotten I owned a copy thanks to backing (to much regret) Alas Vegas (in which James Wallace uses the acknowledgements page to be pissy about the backers who were upset at it’s lateness and his radio silence while working on other projects).
@coreworlder @NinjaDebugger Ugh. That is pretty damning. The concept sounds cool. I’d love to see a setting like this with better mechanics and mindful inclusion of cultural elements without appropriating them.
There's a manhwa with translated title of "Martial Wild West" that does it pretty damn well imo.
