With the announcement that Discord will be requiring age-verification on a global rather than state-by-state level, the exodus is starting and I’m looking at starting up my own DeltaChat relay to support my own friends and communities moving forward.
While I’m solid on mail protocols and servers, I’ve never played with chatmail in general or DC in particular, and would greatly appreciate chatting with others who are in the same boat or (even better) are already running their own cruise ships (to stretch the analogy excessively).
Very interested in **informed** critiques (positive and negative) regarding security concerns (real or potential), extensibility via their apps/bots functionality, and real-world requirements/hidden hurdles in terms of hosting, maintenance and scalability.
