On every Hashtag or word to mute its necessary to search it in profile after adding to filters and manual set properties.
The only other way to mute i found is to add it directly in profile.
Both is not really fast and sometimes tooo hard for me.

You can quickly filter a hashtag by tapping on it to load the feed of posts with that tag, and using the "mute" icon at the top right of the screen (has an 'x' icon on it). This creates a filter specifically for that hashtag.
To mute individual words you have to go through your account preferences, but adding a context menu item for that is a good idea. I'm tracking that in https://github.com/pachli/pachli-android/issues/2091
Your first suggestion is the one i told too hard to handle.
After muting this way its necessary to search it on filters and edit it for my necessaries.
Best would be: after tapping x to mute the prompt for editing this new filter comes automatically.
