#CrowUpdate kind of. The picture is from yesterday on campus. It's a crow completely unfazed that I'm walking right past it, and that I'm stopping to take a picture. He just looked at me for a second and resumed eating.
I kinda wish "my" crows were so unworried about humans, but they don't have hundreds of humans walking around them daily without paying attention to them.

On a side note, I haven't seen "my" crows in three days. I'm getting a bit worried. ⤵️

#crows #birds

What the post says: a crow eating something and not paying attention to me despite the fact that I'm quite close.

They did eat the peanuts I've left them, but no sign of them otherwise. Meanwhile, a few minutes ago, the south crows were being somewhat vocal (they often are) and when I looked at the window, one of them was on the neighbor's roof (it flew away when it saw me). This is not a good sign that they're encroaching on "my" crow's territory without being chased by the legitimate tenants of the area. I think I need to investigate over the weekend.

I walked all around the neighborhood and no sign of the crows. Not only I didn't see them, but they didn't see me either (sometimes this is what happens). Even stranger, I didn't see any crow in the "by the sea" territory either (although I'm not sure what the situation is over there at the moment). I only saw two crows flying pretty high over the neighborhood, and I think they were large-billed crows, not carrion crows. Mysterious...

Also no black kite in the sky... 🤔

I just saw a crow flying back really quickly in front of my window and into the park (to protect itself from the rain). I couldn't identify it. I hope it's Ms Crow (Mr Crow can't fly this fast at the moment).

Just as it was starting to rain heavily, I had to go out run an errand and... both Mr and Ms Crow were there, and happy to see me (or to see my peanuts, I'm never too sure). I even faced the rain for a couple of minutes for them.
