c38. Borrrrrrring.
1) Low on fresh water, and will want some pools of ph2o to sieve for my research, and later for my o2 prod.
2) I want lots of o2 prod for power, so I need some gold to make that rig.
Therefore, 3) I'm cracking and coring slime biomes, both above the base and down on the lower right.
This will take a while. First breeding pair of pacu born. 8 hatches and counting.
As I have cycles, I want to dig over to the ice biome on the upper left: more food.

Look how incredibly wide this starting biome is.
Up at the top, that ice biome is a goner before too long: that big pool of ph20 on its upper right will melt it right out. That's a drag, and I'd like to cap the cool slush geyser before then. Can't dig abyssalite yet, tho.
The first hatch ranch is getting built. Waiting on research to finish it.
end of c12. Just about ready to begin ranching. We have one hatch stable ready to go, and one in progress.
Down below, I've started on a pacu farm. Pacu, in my experience, aren't enough to solve carnivore, but they do help, and they're a great source of lime.
As predicted, that pool of ph2o up at the very top has melted its way into the ice biome there. That'll be a pain in the ass to clean up and out.
I'm chain-digging up to get to it on the upper right.
End of c16. The water is starting to flood into the pacu farm. We'll prolly need more, from the pool on the left, or the one at the bottom.
Finally got abyssalite digging and ranching. The hatch stable has 1 hatch. We're off to the races!
No pacu yet, but there's one in the small ph2o pool to the right.
I'm thinking about what to do with that water that's covering up the cool slush geyser.

Two things going on at the bottom: 1) the five breeder pools for the pacus are nearly full. 2) we're throwing in a carbon skimmer and water sieve to stop co2 build-up
And two things going on at the top, or one big thing. We want to get that cool slush geyser capped, but we can't, with all that liquid on top of it. To the right, we're building an infinistore to hold all the geyser ph2o geyser. And just left of it, a slop tank for the water/brine that's there.
End of c30. If the c22 blueprint was hard to read, you can now see we've made some progress.
The infinistore for cold ph2o is filling. The slop area isn't fully built yet, but obviously will be done shortly.
The rest of the map hasn't changed much, *but*, we now have 6 hatches in the stable, and a pacu off to the right has just dropped an egg, so we'll be starting up pacu production, too.
Food production is still quite low, and I've made more than a few mush bars to keep up with my 8 dups.
All we need to beat carnivore & locavore is get a few more dups and keep running the hatch & fish stables manually. (Around c45 we'll get mechatronics, which will help.)
So. Now what? Well, super-sustainable. We need h2, and lots of it. I propose to build two 2-submerged-electrolyzer rigs. That's way more o2 than we'll need until the endgame, but we need the h2.
