@amoroso@oldbytes.space Not just migrating from Mastodon, Just migrating across the fediverse. I've recently moved to Sharkey from my Mastodon account using the same domain and it sucked knowing I couldn't take my posts across.
@sam Sure. I've heard some fediverse systems (Pleroma? GoToSocial?) already support post migration but it's a highly requested feature of Mastodon:

But in short, there are just too many "just asking questions", "just sharing my unwanted, unhelpful opinion" people, and no tools to defend yourself against that.
Nobody owes us their time and their audience. If you run a blog, you can control or disable comments, this option should be also available on a micro-blog.
