Google is working on an Android-based operating system for PCs code-named Aluminum OS. @spacehobo Its an internal codename, so it will probably just be called Android (or something else) when it's ready for release. For now, I've seen both spellings, so much like the metal itself, I have no idea if this is a matter of regional spelling differences or if some people (possibly myself included) are just getting it wrong.
