My grandad wore jumpsuits.
Old man jumpsuits.
Like, to his "propane and propane accessories" 1970s and 80s Texas job.
I want men's jumpsuits to make a come back.
Also with hoods.

@tinker I mean, I already wear Carhartt and Dickies to my programming job... Why not?
@tinker Gotta get nekked to poo. Sounds cold.
@Sempf - nekked to poo....
Lots of women wear jumpsuits... and they usually sit to pee as well. Seems its a doable thing.
@FritzAdalis @Sempf - Indeed! Mechanics, military pilots, etc et al.
@FritzAdalis @Sempf @tinker How about speedsuits like Dr Venture?
@tinker I have an orange one with a hood.
Pretty sure it was originally made as overwear for personnel in a nuclear power plant 😅
@kluthulhu - Hahaha! I love it!
@tinker
A long time ago I worked in a place where a lot of people wore jumpsuits, but for some reason they preferred to call them flightsuits. Go figure.
@gueuledatmosphere - Yeah, we wore flightsuits while doing convoy ops in Iraq. Cause they didn't melt when exposed to flash fire.
My dad was a pilot and I joked that we wore the same outfit but in different war domains.
Stella Mozgawa wears jumpsuits and rompers.
Why can't I?
@tinker are you aware of Wildfang and their jump suits:

Alright the first one wasnt a jumpsuit.
But this one is.
This is what's going to get me into sewing finally, isn't it.
@tinker once you start wearing rompers, it’s not going to be long before you decide they need a fly, so probably
Ah damnit...
I do NOT have time... nor energy... to pick up another skillset....
But I could totally do this and make it work for exactly what I'm looking for.
My local library makerspace has a free sewing machine AND a free serger... not sure what a serger is... but it looks fancy.
Maybe..... I'll make a quick appointment to get a badge for these machines... Juuuuuust in case I wanna do more sewing in the future.
@tinker at the store I worked at in high school (it was a weird combination hardware store and furniture and flooring store), one of the owners would take carpet remnants that were too small for installing and serge the edges, turning them into giant inexpensive rugs that they could then sell. I picked one up when I quit to go to college. A giant rug covering the whole dorm room floor was such a luxury!
@tinker Sewing is the shiznit.
Like, I don't know many people who can sew on a button, much less make an outfit.
