My siblings and I suffer from chronic pollen allergies, yet we find ourselves forced to do the exact opposite of avoiding triggers. Because cooking gas is so scarce and barely enough for our meals, we have to heat our bathwater over wood fires. I cannot find the words to describe the pain we endure. It hurts deeply that we are deprived of the most basic rights enjoyed by the rest of the world.
