Many people track when the winter solstice is (“the days only get longer from here!”) but you may not know what your local *teletherm* is (“the days only get warmer from here!”). For us here in Boston the winter teletherm is around January 23rd. Where I used to live in Vermont it was right around Groundhog Day.
