You could take everyone at the closing speech of #FOSDEM and give them all €50k a year to work purely on open source for the measly sum of €75m - not that much more than it cost to make one crappy Melania Trump documentary.

I mean I'd have thought national security would be imperative enough - but wouldn't it also save money ?
