The thing that always helped me when I first started doing public speaking is to realize a different point of view.
Everyone is there to hear what you have to say. No one else can present your topic the way you do. Mistakes don't actually exist, they don't know what you will say even if they read your paper. They are all there for you. Just be you and give them the presentation you know so well.
I always presented a little story at the beginning to create a metaphor with. That always calmed things down too.
It's also good for a hook to reference back to.
The butterfly's get easier.
