Downtown Los Angeles today -- the biggest protest I've seen recently. People seemed more defiant than usual too. Lots of folks on the roofs of park buildings, climbing up traffic light poles, etc.
I don't know when I started getting weepy at protests but the beautiful people of this city coming together are so moving. Whose streets? OUR STREETS! gets my tears flowing every time. I love my fellow angelenos...
