@decryption for anyone playing along at home, we ended up getting a MacBook Air 13” M4 16GB RAM 256GB SSD for AUD$1,867 with a USB-C hub & laptop sleeve case thrown in (total RRP for those was about AUD$100)
RRP from the Apple store for the same spec laptop is AUD$1,999 💁♀️

@itgrrl if you need one right now in store, you don't have a lot of choice - officeworks is usually the lowest priced but if you have access to discounted gift cards (via health insurance, bank, etc) you can save a few percent
