@organicmaps I see in one of the images that you can see the list of bike parking / rental and it appears the number of available free slots? Is that real time data? and if so, how can it be configured in my city's bike public sharing stations?

@organicmaps Great job! Looking forward to seeing the next versions!
Are there any improvements planned for the route search function? To be honest, I find the current design confusing.
@rducreux what confuses you, and what do you propose? iOS or Android?
@organicmaps And this character limit is really annoying! 😂
@organicmaps This is, of course, just my humble opinion. I have habits that may not be shared by everyone :-)
@organicmaps Another problem I noticed is that I can't reverse the departure point and destination (for example, I want to see where to go on the way back because there are one-way streets). I have to redo the whole search, which isn't very convenient.
@rducreux Reversing is planned )
@organicmaps Then, after clicking on the "route to" button (I am using the French version, so the wording may be different in English), I did not immediately understand how to enter my destination. I had to scan the entire page down to the text at the bottom and read it to understand that I then had to do another search to choose the destination. I think this step could be improved with a search field for example, to avoid that extra step.
@rducreux It is not clear from your description, what's the issue. You either go from your current position somewhere ("route to"), or start building a route from anywhere ("route from") to somewhere ("route to"). Please check https://organicmaps.app/faq/map/how-to-create-a-route/
@organicmaps For me, the "search" button is only useful for finding a location on the map and possibly getting to that location, but never for leaving from that location.
@organicmaps I use the app on Android. "Confused" may not be the right word. It's more that it took me longer to understand how it works than with other similar apps.
The first time I opened the app, the first question that came to my mind was: how do I create a route. I expected to find a "route" button like on Google Maps, but I couldn't find one. Or even a field saying "Where do you want to go?" like on Here We Go, for example.
@organicmaps @rducreux Can't speak for the other guy, but he might have the same problem as me:
selecting a location and then choosing "route from" is weird to me because either selecting another point on the map or searching a location through the search causes the same "route from/to" dialogue to pop up, while I would expect it to simply select the second point as the location which to route to (from the first point).
Only choosing "route to" in that dialogue actually starts the navigation.
I would suggest that maybe the "route from" button in the second selection thingy gets removed or is replaced by a button called "additional stop" or something like that.
This is on android, version 2026.01.16-8-Fdroid
@organicmaps the logic for the dark theme seems to be broken through.
"Automatic in Navigation" leads to always seeing dark mode if the default on the phone is dark.
Also I would argue: having dark ui-theme and night mode in the map shouldn't be linked like that.
I want to have timing dependent night mode in organic maps and always have dark UI in Android at the same time.
@mxk what is the root cause of such a wish? If you set a dark mode in the system, you don't expect some apps to ignore it, right?
