I'm not sorry for advocating against VC-funded alternatives like Skylight and Upscrolled
We don't need more dangerous exits (see Elon Musk and Twitter), we need more open platforms, that can't be bought.

Outside of donating and evangelizing, is there anything we can do to help with the potential fire-hose of new users that could be joining the platform?
@dansup Skylight is built on the ATProto and cross shares videos with Loops for users who bridge 🙂. They also aren't VC-funded!
UpScrolled isn't VC-funded either, but it is closed, though, so hate on them all you want
