The USA abducted a person from Scotland earlier this month, after the Court of Session (the highest court in Scotland) issued an order specifically interdicting their removal. They were put onto a USA military vessel berthed in Aberdeen harbour and taken.

The UK Government did nothing to protect this person's rights.

So for folks in Scotland tut-tutting over what Trump is doing in Venezuela, Greenland, Iran, Palestine, Syria, Ukraine, and who knows where else...his stained little hands are here now. And Starmer's fine with that.

@yetiinabox I can't help wondering why they approached Sarwar for a comment. He's not even the opposition leader at Holyrood.

@yetiinabox If that limp noodle Starmer gave the go-ahead for this, as I suspect he did, then the problem would not be the US ignoring a British court, but the UK government doing so.
