@satrevik I've mostly seen it used if an asterisk is already used, what would it mean in the author list? 🤔
@vegard_berget Typically the first type of symbol is to indicate the "corresponding author". Additional symbols can mean stuff like "these two authors contributed equally", or other stuff about their authorship role. The symbols are explained below the author list.
