@ai6yr oh! oh! oh! Storytime: I was hiking up in Monrovia Canyon to the falls one rainy fall day, I came around a corner of granite and 20 yards away on the trail a wet bobcat sat looking at me. I'm sure it heard my clumsy footfall. I stopped to admire them and they slowly laid down in the trail, closed their eyes and seemed to sleep. I stood there watching it for a good 5 minutes before some noisy hikers disturbed it and it dashed quickly into the underbrush. I'll hold that memory forever.
@theorangetheme @catsalad LOL I was once hiking a small white terrier that was half the size of that bobcat on a trail, and saw the bobcat, and scooped him up before he got eaten! (I used to think of it as driving a Porsche offroad, he used to get primped and preened by his owners at the dog groomers with ribbons, etc., then I would go walk him through muddy and dirty fields 🤪 )
